What does Zen-O-Raen check?
AI Bot Visibility
We check if major AI platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Grok and Gemini can crawl and index your website. If they can't, your content won't appear in AI-powered search results.
Search Engine Access
We verify if Google and other search engines can reach your site. A misconfigured robots.txt or CDN setting can silently block crawlers and hurt your SEO without you knowing.
Email Security
We check your SPF and DMARC DNS records. Missing these means anyone can send emails pretending to be from your domain — putting your users at risk of phishing.
Which bots should you allow or block?
AI Training Bots — Your choice
GPTBot (ChatGPT), Google-Extended (Gemini), DeepSeekBot and Grok collect your content to train their AI models. Blocking them means your content won't influence future AI responses. Allowing them may help your brand appear in AI-generated answers. This is a business decision — there is no right answer.
AI Search Bots — Usually allow these
OAI-SearchBot (ChatGPT Search), PerplexityBot and ClaudeBot are used to show your content in real-time AI search results. Blocking these means users asking ChatGPT or Perplexity won't find your site — even if your content is relevant.
Google Search — Always allow
Googlebot indexes your site for Google Search. Accidentally blocking it is one of the most common and damaging SEO mistakes. Many sites block AI bots using wildcard rules that also catch Googlebot — without realizing it.
